When it comes to creating a premium quality door it begins with using the highest grade of materials and finalizing construction with superior finishings. The lumber that we use to manufacture doors is hand picked for colour consistency before it is handed off to highly skilled craftsman. Artistic Doors only uses the best when choosing wiping stains and non-VOC water based durable finishes. Goudey stains and lacquer are the finest recipes and backed by the oldest family-owned and operated business in Canada.

Periodic maintenance is required to keep your door looking its best. Check your front doors’ appearance, look for changes such as; fading, dull appearance, flaking, and hairline cracks. Please keep in mind that a door with southern exposure and no overhead protection from the sun will fade faster and may not be warrantied by Artistic. Clean your door with water, rags and light soap solution, keep away from using any brushes or sponges that may leave fine scratches in the finishes and chemicals that could affect the nature of the door.

We urge our customers to recognize that owning a wood entry system does involve maintenance and the climate will affect your door. The door will shrink and swell due to climate change. The door over time will have small imperfections in the surface and these characteristics are not defects rather the natural aging process in owning a wood door.
