Wood Species - Whitewood

Whitewood:

This is our most commonly used material, it is also known as American Poplar or Tulip Wood.  The sapwood or Poplar is typically a creamy white and it can be streaked.  The heartwood can vary from pale yellowish-brown to olive green.   The grain of this wood is a medium-to-fine texture and is generally quite straight.
